Help Support the 50th Anniversary of the Women's and Gender Studies Program in 2025

This year, during Women's Week (March 24-28, 2025), we plan to pull out all the stops and celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of establishing the Women's Study minor at Ball State in 1974.  Your gift helps support things like hosting significant speakers, artists, programs, and even a major-label recording artist.

We can't reveal all we're working on until we confirm availability, but we can tell you what we have confirmed and hint at who we've contacted.

Events we have confirmed already include: 

• Women of the NCAA
• Reading from new books from BSU professions Jessica Ruether and Tanya Pearson
• The Founding Mothers of the BSU student group Feminists for Action
• A women's history walking tour of the BSU campus with local historian Melissa Gentry

We're also in contact with the producer/director of a recent documentary, a prominent YouTube star, and a major-label recording artist who has maintained their popularity since the 1990s. 

There's even more that we can't even mention yet, but as we confirm our speakers and artists, we'll update this description.
