Study abroad programs give Ball State students an opportunity to explore outside the classroom and around the world. Many of our study abroad programs are led by BSU faculty members-- they develop high-impact courses to be taught internationally, perhaps for a summer session, a full semester, or even a quick trip during winter or spring break. This year over 250 BSU students will participate in a BSU faculty-led study abroad program! Gifts to the Study Abroad Fund will help support projects like CAP España, Black Global Studies in Belize, Travel Writing in France & Italy, Ecology in Namibia, and Leadership in Ireland, just to name a few.
About CAP España :
Our group of 9 BSU students will travel to Madrid, Seville, Granada, Barcelona, Cordoba, and Toledo in May to study the unique urban and social history, architecture, art, and culture of the country of Spain . One of the things we're most excited to do is check out the Sagrada Familia and The Alhambra, as well as other important architectural works and spaces. While we're there, we'll learn that just about all facets of culture, religion, architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and design within the new world reference back to Spain.. This course is led by Miguel San Miguel from the Department of Architecture.
*any additional funds raised will be used for future program expenses.
