Women's Tennis

Crowdfunding is all about teamwork. When alumni, friends, and fans come together to support Ball State Women's Tennis, we create real impact for our student-athletes.

Your gift today helps provide the resources our team needs to succeed from upgraded equipment and gear to travel support that gets us to elite tournaments and recruiting opportunities. It helps cover the essentials like meals, uniforms, and technology that allow our players to stay focused, stay healthy, and stay prepared for whatever comes their way.

"It's been an exciting fall for our team -- fresh faces, strong resolve, and big moments already. To our new players stepping up, to our veterans leading by example, and to our donors who make this possible: thank you. We're laying the groundwork now for bigger successes in the MAC and beyond." - Coach Sachin Kirtane

There have been many highlights to celebrate already for the 2025-2026 season:

  • Sophomores Sarah Shahbaz and Isabel Tanjuatco won the doubles championship at the prestigious Milwaukee Tennis Classic in late September.
  • Shahbaz and Tanjuatco finished their September with a 7-0 record across all competitions.
  • Freshman Noa Kosman won her first intercollegiate singles match at Memphis (6-3, 6-2).
  • Jemima Williams-Phillips, Anya Thachyk, and Kosman each picked up singles wins vs. Middle Tennessee State.
  • Priyanka Rana battled for a three-set win over Memphis (6-2, 4-6, 7-5).

These young women give their all for Ball State. They push through early workouts, long practices, and late-night study sessions with one goal in mind: to make you proud. When you give, you’re standing beside them helping them grow as athletes, students, and future leaders.

Together, We Fly. Together, we win

With philanthropy, everything becomes possible. Gifts from alumni, friends, and fans not only enable our program to function, but also demonstrate a commitment to our program's history, current athletes and team culture, and our future. Thank you for your continued support and Go Cardinals!
