Alumni, family, friends and fans, we need your support!
Physical and nutritional development is a vital part of preparing our Cardinals for a winning season! Donations to the Men's Basketball Championship Fund directly benefit our basketball players in a crucial way by providing them with nutritionally sound meals to keep them strong and healthy. When off the court, it is important for our student-athletes to have access to the proper body fuel to enhance their game performance and keep them at their best. All funds raised will be used to further enhance the nutrition made available for our men's basketball student-athletes.
Why you want to support this project: Nutrition is vital for student-athlete success. Through the combination of physical activity and time/recovery periods, student-athletes are pushing their bodies to the limits. Additional energy and nutritional fuel is very important for their diet, training, and recovery. For many college students, food selections are often based on personal taste preferences, time, convenience, and cost rather than nutritional value. The increased demands on student-athletes to compete at the highest level of competition creates a important structuring of nutritional foods and routines.
