Alumni, family, friends and fans, we need your support!
The Women's Basketball Championship Fund's goal is to create an opportunity for team bonding and personal development for the players. Team energy and cohesiveness directly impacts gameplay because of trust in one another. As a team with 8 returning players and 7 newcomers, we are faced with the unique dynamic of having two group majorities come together. All funds raised through this project will be put toward a team bonding initiative to emphasize team building.
Why you want to support this project: The last few years have been, to put it mildly, tough. The challenges created by the pandemic changed the sports industry as we know it. Everything from how/when to practice to how many fans were allowed in facilities made it a tough time for student-athletes and coaches. Team chemistry has never been more important than it is right now!
Who will this impact? Glad you asked!
