Our Crowdfunding Groups
For the first time since Spring 2020, Student Voluntary Services is offering Ball State University students the opportunity to attend a service based alternative breaks trip.
For this academic year's Spring break, students will have the opportunity to travel to Once Upon A Time, a site nestled between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest. There students will actively serve and participate in conservation projects while also receiving a cultural and historical experience from the neighboring Cherokee people.
For this years crowdfunding campaign, we are hoping to lower the barrier to participation for all of our students so that our first trip since the 2020 pandemic has as low of a cost as possible.
Please consider donating to our fund and providing for students to attend a potentially life changing trip!
Any funds remaining after project expenses may be used for other needs of this program.
This year, we plan on taking 14 students to Once Upon a Time in Maryville, TN. For $14, you would be symbolically providing one dollar for every student on our trip!
We don't know about you, but we're feeling (20)22! Our trip takes place this upcoming Spring 2022, consider donating the dollar amount of the year!
The downpayment to attend our alternative breaks trip is $50. Please consider sponsoring a single down payment for one of our students!
We could give you 100 reasons why our trip is so valuable to our campus, students, and the community we are serving. Are you able to give a dollar for every one of those reasons? This donation level would cover a great deal of the cost for our students.
The total cost of our trip per student is $200. With a donation of $200, you can sponsor the cost of an entire trip!
