Cardinal Music Group is Ball State’s premier immersive learning experience for the music industry.  A donation to CMG pays it forward to Indiana's music scene while supporting current artists and preserving the state's musical heritage.  Your generosity will:

3. Archive Hoosier music for posterity

Our mission to EMPOWER Indiana music is all the more crucial in these uncertain times.  Indeed, many of the artists and nonprofit organizations we support have suffered catastrophic financial losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please join with us now to continue our work as we look ahead to the triumphant return Indiana's vibrant live music scene.

CMG is an interdisciplinary team of students collaborating with music professionals in a community driven, nonprofit effort to increase awareness and cultural legacy of Indiana’s collective arts and culture scene.  To do this, CMG undertakes audio/video productions, email and social media marketing campaigns, as well as creative content administrative duties on behalf of its roster of independent artists and affiliated nonprofit organizations.  This relationship relieves the burden on their limited resources and gives BSU students a chance to support their own community while learning the music business in real-time.  Through this interactive collaboration, the students and the artists/nonprofits we support can accomplish much more together than they otherwise would on their own.  This collaborative effort propels Indiana's arts and culture to new heights for the benefit of the public at large. We often espouse at CMG that, "a rising tide lifts all boats."
