Ball State Opera Theatre Presents: Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten
This English comedic opera by Benjamin Britten follows the timid Albert Herring as he overcomes society’s ridicule and his mother’s firm grip. The Ball State Opera Theatre will present this recorded broadcast using social distancing and masks with the opera set during the 1918 flu pandemic. You can watch the performance of both of our casts here: https://sites.bsu.edu/musiclive/
With most of the opera's annual income coming from ticket sales, we need support from dedicated members of our audience like you more than ever. If you enjoy watching the opera online, please consider donating the equivalent of a ticket to a live performance (the average ticket price is about $10 per person, but you may give whatever you like).
