Unite the Ball State Christian Community!

Who are we?

Unite is an event being pioneered by a group of student leaders from several Christian ministries on Ball State University!

Who is involved?

• Chi Alpha, Christian Campus House, Cru, The Navigators, The Impact Movement, The Revolution, and Awaken Ministries!

Our Story

These amazing Christ-centered ministries rarely work together, even though their structure and missions are the same. In the Spring of 2019, several students recognized this gap between their ministries and arose to the challenge by founding this project! It became our goal not only to bridge the gaps within our communities, but allow an opportunity for anyone on our campus to engage with and hear about the gospel of Christ in a way that is outside of the church walls. Beyond that, by working with FCA in Muncie, we hope to go outside of Ball State to create an opportunity for the high school students in Muncie to grow as young leaders in their faith. We believe our ministries will have a farther reaching impact on our community if we work together in harmony!

Our Message

We believe that our Father in Heaven sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins and reconcile us to Him through His grace on the cross and the forgiveness of our sins (based on John 3:16). We also believe that the Church is one body, connected together by many parts as suggested by 1 Corinthians 12:12. This amazing uniqueness in the different ministries allows the body to function fully. However, an even greater opportunity to bring glory to God arises when the Church body works alongside each other in harmony like Psalm 133 describes. Our hope is that this event would inspire students to grow deeper in their relationship with God, sparking a far-reaching impact as students are inspired to share the gospel in their everyday lives for His Kingdom! 

Unite!

We need your help in funding a conference-style event in Emens Auditorium this upcoming year. We have named the event Unite to be a call of action to Unite our community together. Ball State students, the upperclassmen Muncie high school students and their guardians are invited to attend!

Unite will allow any Ball State student to experience the love of Jesus through the teaching of solid scripture, sincere worship, and genuine community. We hope that Unite is a spark that bridges the gaps in our ministries, kindles authentic relationships with Jesus, and starts a fire that Unites us in love, growth in God, and deeper outreach into the community!

In addition to this, we hope to give information on each ministry for high school or college students interested prior to the evening event.

How can you help?

We need your help to make this event become a reality! Your donations will help us fund the costs of our venue and our speaker Jon Jorgenson. Any additional money that we attain will be used for decorations, t-shirts, and most importantly helping us set a foundation to have an annual event!
