The Ball State Symphony Orchestra has been invited to participate in the 2020 Beethoven Festival in Prague and Vienna! The festival will commemorate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. The tour will take place between June 21, 2020 and June 27, 2020.
The students of the BSSO will experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of performing in two legendary venues: the Rudolfinum in Prague, Czech Republic and the Musikverein’s Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria.
Between performances, students will have ample to time to encounter the sights and sounds of European cultural capitals: Prague and Vienna. There is even an optional side trip to Milan and Cremona, the birthplace of the violin.
This trip is especially valuable to music majors since the three cities visited are full of rich musical history. To perform in these halls is to stand where the great musicians of the past stood. Your support is truly appreciated in order to make this inspirational and educational trip more financially accessible.
