Support Registrations to Attend 2020 BSU Peace Conference!

The Ball State Center for Peace and Conflict Studies will host the fourth Benjamin V. Cohen Peace Conference: Building a Beloved Community on March 27 & 28, 2020. Attending this event will promote nonviolent solutions, scholarship, and pedagogy linked to conflict locally, nationally, and globally in diverse contexts, and will educate participants about the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Attending this conference will, therefore, enable participants to develop peaceful and nonviolent solutions and attitudes in their everyday lives, on and off the Ball State campus.

Helping Ball State students and Central Indiana community members to be exposed to scholarship and activism in peace, nonviolence, and conflict studies will allow them to follow in the footsteps of prominent Muncie-born peace activist and one of the architects of the United Nations, Benjamin V. Cohen, Dr. King, and other peacemakers. Ideally, conference attendees will be inspired to work to make the Ball State and Central Indiana communities more diverse, peaceful, and welcoming. By helping to support registrations to this conference, these individuals will be in a better position to develop realistic practices for a more peaceful society!

To find out more about the conference, please visit www.bsu.edu/cohenpeaceconference!

Please note, donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. Law.
